The Tennesse Miller Coliseum complex accommodates the equestrian activities of Middle Tennessee State University and the community. The facility consists of a 150’ x 300’ indoor show ring with fixed seating for 4,500 spectators including 1,780 box seats, with expandable bleacher seating to 6,500. Show offices, press activities, concessions and related show functions are accommodated within the Coliseum. The complex also provides stables for approximately 500 horses, practice rings, lounging rings, washing facilities, trailer parking and paddock areas. Parking for spectators is provided by a combination of paved and grassed parking areas.
The Horse Science Center is an MTSU academic program and is the educational function of the overall program. Student activity occurs at the site daily. This portion of the facility consists of classroom spaces, faculty offices and support spaces. Livestock areas for this program include a covered practice ring for student instruction, breeding ring and lab, stalls for University owned horses, wash racks, locker rooms and support and storage spaces. Student parking is incorporated into the overall facility parking areas.
