The hospital has a total of 18 patient rooms, three of which are specifically designed for bariatric patients. Two of the 18 are LDRP suites. All patient rooms are generously sized and appointed with custom hardwood casework, comfortable daybed, along with local and regional artwork.
The dietary department is equipped with a full commercial kitchen and well-lit dining room. Across the corridor from the dining room is a courtyard featuring paver stones, plants, benches and a fountain. The LDRP rooms were designed to have a full view of this placid space.
In addition to a stone fireplace, residential-type furniture, tile, carpet and local artwork, the main lobby is replete with clerestory windows around the perimeter of its 19-foot ceiling. A full-height curtain wall along the front of the building allows natural light into the lobby. It is a warm, inviting environment for patient, visitors and staff.
Extensive use of recessed lighting, natural light, natural stone and soft colors convey a non-institutional image. In addition, wayfinding has been given high priority, with a “main street” (corridor) leading to all areas and services.
