The purpose of this project was to expand Crossville’s existing recreational park (which provided facilities for adult-league softball only) to include ball fields for all age groups. HFR facilitated a citizen forum, incorporating its input with the City’s stated recreational needs. HFR then provided the Master Plan study for a 22-acre addition to the existing park. The Master Plan included conceptual plans, an opinion of probable costs, and a projected schedule of construction. Finally, HFR designed and monitored construction of the complete facility.
“Crossville’s Centennial Park is one of the finest softball/baseball complexes I have ever seen. It is obvious that the developers have paid great attention to detail and to “getting it right”. It is...also encouraging seeing that a small town can build such an awesome complex.”
