Aquatic Genetics Facility

• Renovation of a 2,500-square-foot vivarium into a state-of-the-art aquatics lab specializing in the study of zebrafish at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
• Zebrafish are an important tool in genetics, developmental biology and genomics research.
• The facility expands the zebrafish holding capacity, provides superior care of the fish and enables the growth of research efforts.
• The lab, among the largest such facilities in the U.S., demonstrates one aspect of HFR’s ability to provide solutions to unusual needs.
