Ringgold County Hospital

• A 16-bed replacement critical access hospital in Mt. Ayr, Iowa, featuring a highly energy-efficient, cost-efficient design.
• Patient wing, imaging suite, lab, outpatient clinic, physical therapy and dialysis surround a large, circular lobby, providing easy access to all.
• Clerestory windows in the lobby and skylights elsewhere admit natural light; skylights also help with wayfinding.
• Choosing pre-fab patient rooms allowed better quality control during construction.
