Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital
• A $36 million addition and renovation project in Elkin, N.C., which began with a
campus master plan developed by HFR.
• Expanded emergency department, new cardiology department, replacement of
61 med/surg patient rooms; expanded and improved ICU layout.
• Lab was relocated to existing shell space, with IT departmentoccupying vacated
area; new C-section suite created; nursery relocated.
