Gibson General Hospital
• A $4.4 million emergency department addition to Gibson General Hospital in
Princeton, Ind.
• ED and admissions area gained a combined 20,000-square-foot addition,
with ED expanded from 2,800 square feet to 7,700 square feet.
• New ED features two trauma rooms and 10 exam rooms, including psych,
isolation, GYN and fast track, most located around a central nurses station.
• Separate canopies are provided for ambulance and patient walk-in entrances
and are designed to guide patients towards the walk-in entry.
