Gateway Regional Medical Center

• Hospital emergency department renovation in Granite City, IL.
• The existing ED was renovated and expanded into an adjacent area, doubling the total space.
• Exam rooms increased from 7 to 12: admitting, triage and waiting
• areas were expanded; a four-bay fast-track area was added.
• The layout was designed to allow for phased construction to accommodate the need for the ED to remain fully functional during construction.
