A 23,400-square-foot library in Smyrna, TN, designed by HFR and constructed $100,000 under budget.
The brick and cast stone facility was centrally placed in an existing park on the fringe of an established residential neighborhood.
Special attention was given to complementing the local residential vernacular and accentuating the existing park with trails, waterscapes and landscaping.
A “team building” concept was employed, utilizing the services of the Rutherford County Public Building Authority.
