Shelbyville Recreation Complex

• A full-service recreation center for the City of Shelbyville and Bedford County, TN.
• Located in the city’s primary park, the $4.2 million facility includes an indoor 50-meter pool, gym, racquetball court, wellness center, aerobics center, arts and crafts, four-lane running/walking track and public access meeting facilities.
• An AIA Merit Award Winner: “The jury was impressed with the clarity and legibility employed in the plan. We also felt that the architects were able to achieve clarity employing simple forms and modest materials and have done so with a poetry which seems absolutely embodied in this recreation center.”
