Phase one consists of three soccer fields, a parking area, and a walking trail with connector bridge. HFR Design worked with Parks Director Dave LeMarbre to develop the design for Volunteer Park at Arrowhead to alleviate current traffic congestion and overcrowding at Drakes Creek Park, as well as meet the demands of the growing city. “The growth is there. All of our youth sports have gone beyond our expectations this year,” said LeMarbre in an article appearing in The Tennessean last year.
