HFR Design, Inc. is a full service architectural firm with civil, structural, and transportation engineering services that specializes in the health care, educational, senior living, religious, government, community, and corporate realms. We are currently seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and highly detailed architectural and engineering specifications professional with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our team. We are looking for an individual able to work independently, as well as in a team environment; who possesses the organizational skills to prioritize tasks, handle multiple deadlines concurrently; and that has excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
This individual will work closely with our Senior Architect / Specifier, our project management staff and our out-of-house consultants on multiple simultaneous projects. be responsible for specifications delivery. Our new hire needs working knowledge of various construction delivery methods: lump sum, cost plus, multiple prime, construction management, best value, and fast track.

Location will be in our Brentwood, TN office, but projects may originate in either of our two satellite offices in Jackson, TN or Kansas City, MO. HFR offers a competitive salary and benefits.

This position reports directly to the Senior Architect / Specifier.
This position requires sufficient physical ability, with or without reasonable accommodation, to perform work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.
3+ years of experience in the architectural / construction industry.
Experience with public and private, prime and multi-prime projects in Tennessee, particularly health care, schools, and municipal buildings.
Commitment to a continually expanding knowledge base of the latest building materials, systems, and equipment.
Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Adobe, SpecIntact, and NewForma.
Familiarity with AutoCad and Revit.
