Project Architect

HFR’s office in Brentwood, TN is seeking an individual who has at least 5 years experience in the healthcare design sector as well as experience in other design sectors; the position has career advancement potential. We need someone on our team who can lead a project and can excel working with clients and consultants. Proficiency in Revit required; marketing experience preferred.

Survey Crew Member

HFR’s Surveying Department, in Brentwood, TN is seeking applicants with experience working in the field surveying land; experience with GEOPAK/Robotic Code and TDOT are preferred. Salary dependent on experience.

Print Room Coordinator

General Summary of Responsibilities:
Responsible for receiving orders and printing copies of architectural/engineering plan drawings, specifications, gathering data and submitting bid packages for job bids and acting as the runner/delivery person for the firm.

Supervision Received:
Reports daily to Assistant CFO

Typical Physical Demands:
Requires the ability to use office equipment such as computers, plot printers, telephones, copiers, etc. Familiarity and skill with printing equipment and materials and/or the ability to learn this skill quickly required. Must be able to drive a vehicle. Must be able to lift and carry heavy boxes (up to 50 lbs.); must be able to climb steps.

Typical Working Conditions:
Work is conducted in an office environment with daily runs to various destinations in traffic including downtown Nashville. Personal vehicle needed for deliveries – an average of 100 – 150 miles / week. Reimbursement @ $0.545 / mile or IRS Standard mileage rate.

Examples of Duties: (This list may not include all of the duties assigned.)
1. Receiving requests for copies of plans and processing requests via plotters and computers to print in-house or send out.
2. Record keeping of processing requests for client billing purposes.
3. Manage archived files.
4. Daily runs to the post office and bank as well as delivery of plans.
5. FedEx/UPS – receiving, distribution & shipping.
6. Bid duties: placing advertisements in newspapers, create bid tabulation forms, plan distribution, verifying license of contractors.
7. Order and maintain office supplies, copier and printer paper, kitchen supplies.
8. Set up conference rooms for meetings and lunch and learns.
9. Stock paper for all copiers and plotters.
10. Moving furniture and misc. items for office staff.
11. Maintain the postage machine with updates and supplies.

Performance Requirements:
Acquires knowledge of architectural and engineering field operations, staff, and clients. Eases deadlines with familiarity with corporate processes and needs. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective, professional working relationships with clients, consultants and staff. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
