Known as Nashville's Oldest Architecture and Engineering Firm, HFR Design was founded on the innovative concept of a collaborative design firm. Founders Russell Hart, Frances E. Freeland, and Martin S. Roberts rose to prominence almost instantly, with projects such as The Parthenon, Dudley Field (the South's first collegiate Football stadium), the Frost Building, the historic WSM Broadcasting Station, and the Tennessee Governor's Mansion, projects that have all become a part of Nashville's iconic history.
